Everything you need to cover JADE Memories — founder bio, product specs, story angles, downloadable assets, and a direct line to the team.
JADE Memories is a Saudi-built smart-jewelry brand making sterling-silver necklaces with embedded NFC chips that, when tapped with any phone, reveal a private collection of photos, videos, and voice notes — designed as heirloom-grade gifts for weddings, anniversaries, and life's biggest moments.
"The Saudi startup turning sterling silver into smart heirlooms"
Built entirely in Saudi Arabia, JADE Memories bridges Saudi Vision 2030's push for tech entrepreneurship with the kingdom's long-standing tradition of giving meaningful, heirloom-quality jewelry at weddings and milestones.
"What if the wedding ring could play back the proposal?"
Gift-giving in MENA has historically centered on jewelry. JADE represents the first wave of "smart jewelry" — a category combining traditional craftsmanship with NFC chips so a gift carries memories instead of just metal. The chip is invisible, the technology is private, and the meaning is permanent.
"Encrypted like a bank, gentle as a love letter"
While most "connected" products collect data, JADE collects nothing. Every photo, voice note, and video is encrypted with AES-256-GCM — the same standard banks use — before leaving the user's device. The chip itself holds no data, only a key. In an era of data-hungry hardware, JADE is built around radical privacy.
Abdullah Alsaeed founded JADE Memories in 2026 to bridge two worlds he loves — Saudi Arabia's tradition of giving meaningful jewelry, and the engineering possibilities of modern NFC and encryption. With a background in software engineering and product design, he built JADE around a single belief: the most valuable gifts aren't expensive — they're meaningful, lasting, and impossible to replicate.

"We give the same gifts our grandparents did — gold, silver, perfume. But we live in 2026. A chip the size of a grain of rice can carry every photo, every voice, every video from a couple's first year together. Why shouldn't a wedding necklace hold their actual wedding?"— Abdullah Alsaeed, Founder
